Organic Microbial Root Development & Rhizosphere Support

Product Category: Microbial Biostimulant / Root-Zone Biological Support
Product Form: Liquid Concentrate
Primary Crop: Agarwood (Aquilaria spp.)
Application: Soil drench / root-zone application
Use Stage: Nursery, transplanting, establishment and early plantation development

1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

BioGrow™ ROOT is a specialized organic and microbial root-zone formulation designed to support root establishment, fine-root development, nutrient-use efficiency, and beneficial rhizosphere activity in agarwood and other perennial plantation trees.

The formulation combines organic biostimulant components, humic substances, botanical extracts, amino-acid nutrients, organic carbon and beneficial microbial organisms to create a favorable biological environment around the root system.

BioGrow™ ROOT is intended to establish the biological and nutritional foundation required for vigorous early tree development.

2. TECHNICAL FUNCTION

BioGrow™ ROOT operates through four complementary mechanisms:

A. Root-Zone Conditioning

Humic and fulvic substances support a favorable rhizosphere environment and nutrient availability.

B. Biological Activation

Selected beneficial microorganisms are incorporated to support biological activity around the root system.

C. Biostimulation

Seaweed-derived compounds and amino acids provide supplementary biostimulant activity supporting normal plant development.

D. Organic Carbon Support

Readily available organic carbon provides a substrate supporting beneficial microbial activity, subject to appropriate formulation and application conditions.

4. MICROBIOLOGICAL SPECIFICATION

Potential biological platform:

  • Bacillus spp.
  • Trichoderma spp.
  • Other validated plant-beneficial rhizosphere microorganisms, where scientifically justified

Each organism should undergo:

  • Taxonomic identification
  • Strain authentication
  • Viability testing
  • Compatibility testing
  • Contaminant screening
  • Shelf-life validation
  • Root-colonization/efficacy evaluation

Important: Microbial strains should be selected based on documented safety, regulatory acceptability, compatibility with Aquilaria spp., and demonstrated agricultural performance.

  • Pathogenic-organism screening

Physical QC

  • Appearance
  • Odor
  • Homogeneity
  • Sedimentation
  • Redispersibility
  • Packaging compatibility

Safety QC

  • Heavy metals
  • Undesirable chemical contaminants

7. APPLICATION

Nursery / Seedlings

Apply as a diluted soil drench around the root zone during establishment.

Newly Transplanted Trees

Apply after transplanting to support root establishment and rhizosphere development.

Young Plantation Trees

Use periodically during active root and vegetative development according to field-trial-derived application rates.

Application rate: To be established through controlled Aquilaria trials before inclusion on a commercial label.

8. COMPATIBILITY

BioGrow™ ROOT should be evaluated for compatibility with:

  • BioGrow™ SOIL
  • BioGrow™ VEGA
  • BioGrow™ PRIME
  • BioGrow™ RECOVER
  • Organic fertilizers
  • Mineral fertilizers
  • Irrigation systems
  • Agricultural biological products

Avoid unvalidated tank mixing with fungicides, bactericides, strong oxidizers, highly acidic/alkaline materials, or antimicrobial products, as these may reduce microbial viability.

9. INTENDED AGRONOMIC ROLE

BioGrow™ ROOT is designed to support:

Rhizosphere Health

Fine-Root Development

Nutrient & Water Acquisition

Tree Establishment

Healthy Vegetative Development

BioGrow™ ROOT is not intended to directly induce agarwood resin formation. Its role is to establish a strong biological and nutritional foundation for subsequent plantation-management programs.

10. STORAGE

Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Keep container tightly closed.

Do not freeze.

Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures that may compromise microbial viability.

11. PACKAGING

Recommended commercial formats:

  • 1 L — Nursery / smallholder
  • 5 L — Professional farm use
  • 20 L — Plantation operations
  • 200 L — Commercial farm / bulk application

Packaging should be selected for compatibility with the microbial and organic formulation.

12. TECHNICAL POSITIONING
