Below is a commercial-development formulation concept for BioGrow™ SOIL. It is designed as a soil conditioner + microbial-support product for Aquilaria plantations, not as a resin-induction inoculant.
Target form: Granular / powdered soil amendment
Target application: Agarwood nursery, young trees, mature plantation
| Component | Target % w/w | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Mature compost / stabilized organic matter | 35.0% | Organic carbon and soil conditioning |
| Fine biochar | 15.0% | Microbial habitat, carbon matrix, nutrient retention |
| Vermicompost | 15.0% | Organic matter and biological activity |
| Humic substances | 8.0% | Soil aggregation and nutrient availability |
| Fulvic substances | 3.0% | Nutrient complexing and mobility |
| Kelp/seaweed meal or extract carrier | 3.0% | Biostimulant and organic-mineral support |
| Rock phosphate / natural P source | 5.0% | Phosphorus reserve |
| Dolomitic mineral source | 5.0% | Ca/Mg and pH buffering |
| Zeolite | 5.0% | Cation exchange and nutrient retention |
| Beneficial microbial carrier fraction | 5.0% | Supports microbial establishment |
| Microbial-protective excipients / binder | 3.0% | Granulation and microbial stability |
| Total | 100% |
🦠 Suggested Microbial Consortium
For the 5% microbial-support fraction, a development target could be:
- Bacillus subtilis — beneficial rhizosphere bacterium
- Bacillus amyloliquefaciens — rhizosphere/soil-support organism
- Trichoderma harzianum or a validated Trichoderma strain — beneficial fungal component
A practical initial specification would be approximately 10⁶–10⁸ viable CFU/g of finished product, but the actual guaranteed count should be established from stability and shelf-life testing rather than simply specified on paper.
Important: Do not include Fusarium oxysporum in BioGrow™ SOIL. Keep the BioGrow soil-health platform microbiologically distinct from your experimental/induction technologies such as FusaPrime™.
Recommended NPK Position
I would keep BioGrow™ SOIL relatively low in NPK, because its principal purpose is soil conditioning rather than primary fertilization.
A development target could be approximately:
N–P₂O₅–K₂O: 2–2–2 to 3–2–3
with the final guaranteed analysis determined by laboratory testing of the selected raw materials.
Application Concept
Established Aquilaria trees:
0.5–1.5 kg/tree/application, incorporated into the soil or applied around the root zone.
Young trees:
100–500 g/tree/application, depending on tree age and soil condition.
Nursery:
Use a lower inclusion rate in the growing medium rather than applying the mature-tree rate.
For commercial release, application rates should be validated through soil analysis + nursery/field trials before being presented as guaranteed agronomic recommendations.
BioGrow™ Platform Architecture
This also gives you a logical product family:
BioGrow™ ROOT → root establishment
BioGrow™ VEGA → vegetative development
BioGrow™ PRIME → mature-tree nutrition
BioGrow™ SOIL → soil & rhizosphere health
BioGrow™ RECOVER → post-stress recovery
BioGrow™ SOIL therefore becomes the foundation product of the entire plantation nutrition system.
